Description
TÓG Architecture was established by Ivor Hession with the ambition of developing a collaborative design focused practice. TÓG seeks to work with clients and collaborators to establish the key objectives of every project whether that be a one of piece of furniture, a clients dream home or commercial project.
TÓG believes that collaboration between Architect, Client and all involved in the design process is fundamental in producing a finished product that best meets the aspirations and requirements of the project.
A fundamental understanding of material and making form the basis for the Design and Architecture of TÓG, allowing the material to both define and enrich a space or object without the need for decoration.
Ivor is a RIBA and RIAI registered Architect, he has previously worked with a number of award winning Architects including McGonigle McGrath Architects, MMAS, and ArdMackel Architects where he was involved in award winning projects such as Lessans House by McGonigle McGrath and the Sportlann at Coláiste Feirste by ArdMackel.
While studying at Belfast School of Architecture Ivor won the prestigious RSUA Bronze medal award for his undergraduate design thesis and was also nominated for the RIBA Silver medal award for his Masters dissertation entitled Context [is everything].
